Properly coding your expenses ensures accurate financial reporting and seamless accounts payable processing. This guide will walk you through coding your expenses in the system.

Once expenses have been processed, extracted details will be displayed automatically. Review the details to ensure accuracy before proceeding.

Input Fields

Review and verify the following fields:

  • Supplier: The name of the vendor or entity providing the goods or services.

  • Type: The classification of the document, such as a supplier invoice or receipt.

  • Reference (Ref): A unique identifier for the invoice, often provided by the supplier.

  • Date: The issue date of the invoice.

  • Due Date: The deadline for payment of the invoice.

  • Currency: The currency in which the invoice is issued.

  • Account: The appropriate account category for the expense based on your company settings.

  • Net Amount: The total amount before tax is applied.

  • Tax: The applicable tax amount based on the jurisdiction and tax rate.

  • Total: The final payable amount including tax.

Publishing Your Expense

Once all required fields have been completed, the Publish button will be enabled. Click Publish to finalize the expense coding.
